Serket is a protector Goddess for humans and the world order. She guards the jar that contains the mummified internal organs of the dead with Neith, Aishat and Nephtys. Serket is also one of the protectors of the four sources of the Nile river. She is positive in most of her attitudes, As a scorpion, she protects people from venom but can also sting if the occasion arises.
