This large vase shaped rustic candle holder is perfect for tapered candles, pillar candles, and other large candles. The top and bottom are accented with metal rims, also providing a stable base to prevent tipping. the sides are made of crackle glass, giving a shimmering glitter to the light from the candle within. Crackle glass is produced by placing the molten glass in cold water before reheating it and blowing it into the desired shape. During that reheating process, the cracks seal, becoming smooth to the touch but keeping that distinct and individual pattern that the glass cracks formed.
