Sekhmet was the lionoess headed goddess who was the dark reverse of the goddess Hathor. She was a goddess of war whom almost wiped out the human race, running rampant until Ra tricked her with beer the color of human blood. Also a sun goddess, she represented its destructive force, and defended the divine order. This statue is of a cold cast resin & hand painted. It stands 9 1/4'' high.
